First time here and it is a wonderful little mom and pop place, really cute. We had room #19 on the river, I loved the cabin feel about the room. It had a porch on the front with chairs and a table, out the back window you could watch the water flowing in the river. There is also a big covered patio out back with porch swings surrounded a stoned fire pit and a couple of picnic tables. If we weren't going to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway from beginning to end I would have stayed for days. I would definitely recommend this motel for anyone that likes peace and quite. A big thumbs up!!!

First, let me say it is NOT right IN Bryson City, but it's worth the few extra miles for its tranquil setting on the river. Many others had used the word "pleasant" in their descriptions. That can mean mediocre...or as in this case, it captures it perfectly! It is a very pleasant place!
We had the best bed that we've slept on in 3 weeks of travel! The place was neat and clean and tidy...a relief in our weary travels! Although we didn't use it, the pool was sparkling clean and very inviting.
The owner was super friendly and helpful. We wished we had planned to stay longer!

Such a nice quiet little place. They have rooms, but we stayed In the cabin behind. There is a garage, fire pit, washer and dryer, two bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, dining area, tv, very nice. Surrounded by trees, and a lake in back, right off the highway. The pool was clean, and the kids enjoyed. Nice kitchen with dishwasher. If you prefer not to cook, stop somewhere along the way and get food , or bring back to cook. I live on busy city, the quiet took a little getting used to. Nice place to stay, owner very nice. We would go back again.
